I’ve been working as the Community Manager for Kwippy.com since September of 2008, and the time has gone by quickly. It has been my first experience as the single US employee of a (now) international corporation. Kwippy is a microbloging site similar to Twitter, but Kwippy is much more conversationally focused. The goal of the founders is to provide something more along the lines of an Internet Coffee Shop where people can stop and chat for a bit.

My biggest challenge so far has been spending the necessary time to find ways to encourage the user base to grow and to market Kwippy.com into new areas.

Brooklyn Bound

I have accepted a position in New York City and will be moving to Brooklyn later this week! (You should picture me dancing about bubbling with excitement as you hear those words) For those of you that hadn't heard it is a recent development... less than a week since the offer. Lost

Over the US Thanksgiving Day weekend I finally had the opportunity to catch up on Lost. I've made it through seasons 4 & 5 and am now working on season 1, with 2-3 to follow. Present Theories: Jacob is the father trying to raise his child. A loose parallel of Christian and Jack. The Island is a prison: Jacob and "friend" are in the prison. Jacob is a warden whos "powers" can escape the island.
