Valentine’s Day Weekend
This was one of the busier weekends I’ve had since moving to Florida. I credit the location of Chez Kitteh (the new apartment) for drawing me closer to the haps in St. Petersburg.
Friday evening I ventured a few streets over to ARTpool for their Muse show. In addition to the new art on display, painted human canvases mingled in the crowd. It was a very eclectic and progressive crowd that was reminiscent of similar gathering in San Francisco. I did a reprise of my Experimental outfit, this time going with red tinted candy, black boots and a red cloak/cape. A cappella singing and a short DJ set rounded out the evening.
Saturday night DJ Calamity Jane of Ambient Mafia fame was spinning a series of sweet grooves in her first east coast chill set at Cafe Bohemia. Photographer Stewart Lawson was also having his art opening for his Streetscape photography series.
Sunday was a bit of RnR before biking over to Rollin Oats (think Trader Joes style store) for some staples.
Looking forward to the coming weekend when Chez Kitteh Housewarming goes off. Hope you all can make it for that.
