Tri Green Beach Buffalo

What a busy weekend! St. Anthony’s hospital held their annual triathlon on Sunday. Several thousands of people were participating. Sadly though the swimming portion was omitted due to heavy surf. Shelley and I went plant/garden shopping at the Green Thumb Festival and Home Depot. We took the Angus and Biscuit for a walk that was filled with hilarity from start to finish! To relax we caught up with the first two weeks of Deadliest Catch. All You Can Eat snow crab at the Casual Clam on 9th here in St. Petersburg this Tuesday (April 28) Meet us there!!!!

Angus had his favorite frog repaired on Sunday.  He’d beaten the stuffing out of it.  Mohawk Frog with extra special magnets is back to full play capacity!

Gulfport Goes Green went off on Saturday. Well kinda. As with any new event there is some growing pains…and competition with other activities going on at the same time. If you have a Green idea, service, concept, etc that you would like to bring to the public let me know I’d love to have you there next month.
Donna the Buffalo was also playing on Saturday night at Janus Landing. (it reminds me of an open air Mezzanine) I didn’t go to the show but hung walked around downtown St. Petersburg with Shelley to hear DtB’s music and get a feel for the nightlife.

Friday’s Adventure night had Shelley and I off to Pass-A-Grille for Beach Goes Pops. Live music and food along the beach. Very fun an nice atmosphere.. a few good artists were about and Shelley found what would become the first piece of art she has every purchased. A bird sculpture created from older table service and silverware.

At some point over the weekend I committed to developing my Project Jackrabbit site as a repository for research to support the creation of an independent settlement on the moon. Hey someone’s gotta give Virgin Galactic a destination. Right now all I’ve got is a logo and URL. Info will be going up as soon as possible.
