I was going through quite a drought while in Florida... much better now that I'm in NYC with TJ's a 10 minute walk away.. though the lines can be crazy long at times :-)

How far are you from a TJ's?

I was first introduced to TJ's when I worked in Los Angeles once a month. It didn't have the cult following then, I just thought it was a neat neighborhood grocery store. I would stop on Supulveda Blvd on the way to LAX and load up; of course that was when you could bring all kinds of stuff on the plane.

I have friends in my cooking group who send me TJ's care packages now and then. I tricked my husband into going to the grand opening of TJ's in Roswell, GA a few years ago.

I'm not a big fan of Charles Shaw wines... I much prefer choosing from the rest of the selection in the store... however if a case of Charles Shaw were to show up on my doorstep I would gladly accept and throw a party to introduce my Florida mates to one of the icons of Trader joe's goodness!
