The Bus
In 2006 I purchased a retrofitted 1963 Gillig schoolbus that resided as a motorhome. It had a 535 cubic inch gasoline burning engine, and lots and lots of wood paneling when I bought it.
I had it for about a year… doing some renovations and taking it out to Burning Man in 2006. But the parking in San Francisco and my lack of time made my giving up the bus the best recourse.. So last I heard it lives with Gooferman and has made a few other trips out to the playa…
I kinda think that I’d like to get another.. but am drifting more to a boat mindset. Much more area can be covered with a sailboat.
