I think the battery swap is a great idea as it will allow for "battery" stations in stead of gas stations... and will permit switching to a higher capacity battery as time goes by. Like trading up to a bigger gas tank in your car.. but in only 5 minutes. :-) It's my plan to get a spare with the car so I can double the initial effective range. However I'm optimistic that it will be greater than 300 miles by the time I take delivery! Up next.. electric airplanes!!!!
