Seattle

I’ve had three trips to Seattle so far. First was for a conference at Microsoft and a Baseball game., second was a conference for a book publisher, and third was with Shelley to visit family and play the part of the tourist for once.

I like the feel of Seattle, at least the downtown city portion.   However not so fond about the weather, with the rain and clouds makes it feel more gloomy than San Francisco.  I do think I like it better than Chicago.  There is something about the west coast creativity that draws me. (or it could be the geography)

So far I’ve made it to a few of the restaurants, my favorite being Purple, the first Starbucks, Space Needle, and the Pike Place fish market.

It was suggested that I take a tour of the  Seattle Underground.  I should make a list of the other things to do the next time I’m in town. Isn’t there some sort of gift/gag/wacky item store?
