A hope of 2009 is to end the year aboard my sailboat. I’ve just started looking about to see what is available. The ideal sailboat will comprise of as many of these specs as possible:

• Two masts
• Ketch preferred over schooner
• Cruiser more than racer
• Catamaran hull design
• 20m (though it may be more practical to start around 10m)
• Hull composition – unsure yet but not drifting to wood.
• Engine – Electric or Diesel
