Reverend Matthew Phillips

Reverend Matthew Phillips

Every now and again I come across a forgotten resource or some part of me that began but was not well developed or fleshed out.

On Saturday, May 10, 2003 I became the Reverend Matthew Phillips.

This led to a few interesting conversations with my good friend Craig, who spent several years studying to be a pastor and went on to lead a congregation in Vermont. Then I moved to San Francisco and got caught up in all that happens on the west coast… A few days ago I came across my ordination confirmation certificate and began to wonder why I had not done much with it and how it may fit into my theme for 2009 – Production.

Anyone have a good suggestion that would work as the name of a church?

:-)

      Nice!
      Here are some names to think about, more of a brainstorm;

      Church of Collective Consciousness
      Children of the Universe
      Church of the Cosmos
      Blissful Gaia
      Church of the Temporal Being
      Galactic Trancendence
      Church of Universal Truth

I have no idea what kind of name you’d be looking for, haha, but I would assume non-denominational.

Great suggestions! And right on about the non-denomination feel.

Since putting up the post I’ve been feeling that the name should some how capture or touch on the feeling of dance or music….

      :-)

      Rhythm Children
      Tranceperformance
      Movement Lab
      Church of Cosmic Rhythm
      The Harmonic Ministry
      Resonant Consciousness
