Pegs, VW, and Margaritas

Adventure (Friday) night – Shelley and I headed to the  Gulfport Artwalk for dinner at Pegs.  We both ended up having the chicken enchilada followed by key lime pie with great beer, Ale to the Chief and somethign Dunkle  for me. We explored the artwalk, and I  forgot to pick up coconuts for making some bonsai tree planters, we  looked at the moon through telescope very very cool!  We returned back to the apartment and traipsed around Rays Stadium as the game was winding up. Next was the movie Benjamin Buttons.. way slow and put me to sleep… meh not the movie for me.

Saturday began by Angus for a walk and my working on a score for a short film.  Taking a break Shelleu and I transitioned the morning into afternoon with a bike ride thought the parks and along the waterfront were saw VW show at the Pier, but no manatees. Shelley went to work on her paper and I had a great talk with Maria as I explored my neighborhood. I discovered that I had been using Ableton Live incorrectly and my score was all wrong :-P doing it better now.

What a lovely lazy day Sunday became.  I was up early and started plinking about on the score with a little Twilight Zone on the TV. In the afternoon I went out to Round Lake park in search of hooping.   No one was there when I first arrived so I headed over to check the flyer I saw at StarBucks, it was gone.  Feeling a little dejected I rode back past the park and happened to see a group unpacking hoops and music!!!! :-)   I met Anna, Freeman, Alexis (shehoopsalot), Rochelle, and Justin.  What a refreshing group of people.  Done hooping we went off to the V.I.P on Treasure Island for what I was told were some of the best margaritas in Tampa Bay.  After two pitchers worth I was enjoying them very much.

The weekend wrapped up with Shelley making margaritas here at home with the remaining tequila watching Stargate SG-1 and poking about on the interwebbs.

:-)
