Luscious and Synchronicity

Luscious and Synchronicity

2007 was my second full year in San Francisco and the year where it felt I made the most connections…

Luscious - richly luxurious or appealing to the senses
Synchronicity - the coincidental occurrence of events and especially psychic events (as similar thoughts in widely separated persons or a mental image of an unexpected event before it happens) that seem related but are not explained by conventional mechanisms of causality

When I was engaging on any project I worked to make it more luscious. A good example being my outfit for the first Experiment. Green furry coat covered an outfit created from fruit roll ups, marshmallow peeps, and a few other assorted candies.

With synchronicity it was a more open mindset and allowing for more possibilities.  Which might have been why I made more friends and connections this year than previously.

It was the summer of campouts, Lightning in a Bottle, Priceless, Acid Totem in Big Sur, Burning Man, Sunset Parties, New Moonie, Chillits, Field Day, and a few more that slip my mind due to a lack of taking photos. Arrgghh

I remember picking up a copy of Harry Potter at just after midnight of the day it was released and then reading it to all who cared listed at the Priceless campout. (I made it though the first chapter then kept it kinda to myself)

I also made my first trip to Bohemian Carnival and soon became a regular.  My bus eventually became the Gooferbus.

More to come as I discover photos and memories pop up!
