Lemon cake and cat harnesses

Monday I spent the day returning to a state of near normalcy from my weekend adventures in Lakeland.  I ended up writing a post covering my first regional burn that would have unexpected consequences later in the week

Tuesday is my day in Gulfport working on developing the online presence of the Outpost and the Gulfport Tuesday Market. On my way to Gulfport I ran into two students at Gibbs High School on their way to lunch.  They were part of the guitar class that I subbed for last fall and early this year.  Cafe Nirvana had Lemon Cake so I treated myself to a slice with my Iced Non Fat Mocha.  My post about PreHeat began to generate heated comments from some who had attended and helped organize PreHeat. I stopped past ArtPool to chat with Marina about helping produce an upcoming fire arts show. Gotta start asking questions and finding out what restrictions are put on by the city of St. Pete. I also began fleshing out my presence on the social network Rejaw, you can connect with me here – http://rejaw.com/kestrachern

Wednesday MooseB8 came back all working (except that the fuel gauge is still off.) Kurt Z was nominated for inclusion into the Tampa Bay Green 100. Voting opened today and and Kayak Nature steadily rose to #1 and continues to accumulate votes and extend its lead! Kurt doesn’t just want to win he wants total domination!!! I also dropped off the first order of Business/Promotional cards for Gulfport Goes Green! I am supposed to be working on the musical score for a short film by Isabel and Leslie Fry.. but having trouble getting motivated. Too sucked into Babylon 5 Season 3.

Thursday worked on the music for the short film.  Angus and Biscuit got harnesses.  That was fun as they freaked out a bit then settled down some when they got outside.  I finished up work on the MCI site and am scheduled to get the check Friday. — I initially forgot to include that I had a great conversation with my friend Craig.  We spent over an hour on the phone catching up and touching on a variety of subject, basketball, biking, parents, Vermont, Florida, Boston, starting a church, making a trip and all sorts of other good stuff.   I spent the time roaming about downtown St. Petersburg while we talked and tasted all sorts of music played from the various venues.

Friday I picked up the business cards for Gulfport Goes Green to start handing out tomorrow.  I also stopped past the office of the Gulfport Gabber to pick up some time as a stringer reporter and photographer.  The editor was appreciative of my work and was excited to have me apply.  Said I’ll know in a few weeks.  I started season four of  Babylon 5 today.  Tonight looks like it’ll be spent at Beach goes pops at Pass-a-Grille
