iPhone musings with thepete

iPhone is in the same place as iPod V1, Y’know the one that the Skipper had on Gilligan’s Island with the mechanical wheel on the front poor resolution LCD and 5 GB

The nice thing is that save 3G and memory upgrades it is fantastic hardware waiting to be used, in the same vein as the P3 with the Cell processors.

Steve thinks in long term. Knowing that in 12 months there will be SDK or app store etc that the rest of us can’t see yet because we are all complaining about the lack of copy & paste

In SF nearly everyone has one. here in FL everyone that sees mine wishes they could have it. I see students in class with PSP… and the iPhone is a better platform for games. (dude the PSP has buttons and tilting it has no effect on games and the screen seems so small and the games are on little DVD’s? wtf?)

I get very excited at the potential of the iPhone history will look back on it and say this is the point when the Mobile Core and truly mobile communications & computing were brought to the masses. i expect that a huge corn statue will be built in Fly Over country in Steve’s honor.

:-)

bigger than Elvis. srsly!

I’d like a huge corn sculpture made out of me. I wonder what I’d have to do to deserve it…
