With the passing of the 2009 Burnal Equinox it occurred to me that I’ve not participated in any Burning Man flavored event for over a year now. To ease my withdrawal enter Florida PreHeat. As its a smaller gathering of about 250 people I’m expecting it to be similar to the Fire Mountain gatherings.

One thing I’ve found since moving to Tampa Bay is the lesser community involvement. Where as in San Francisco people seemed eager to step up and add their excitement to the project, I’m not finding it as overtly expressed here. So here’s hoping to make some good connections, unwind with some like minded people, and generally get my freq on.
