I agree with you as there is a high degree of potentially embarrassing material posted for all to see..   Perhaps it is only people starring in their own Reality TV show..

I agree with your sentiment though.. I don&#039;t post anything on the Internet that is not for public consumption.  I figure that regardless how &quot;private&quot; I make a post, not that it resides in the information highway it is subject to exposure, catalogue, more exposure etc etc...</description>

I wouldn&#039;t post anything on a social network that I wouldn&#039;t mind being tacked onto the bulletin board in my office.

One time I had to backtrack and remove a comment from FB about a &quot;sales rep giving our department a facial&quot; after my boss friended me.  I&#039;m sure he wouldn&#039;t be a bad sport, but you just can&#039;t trust people when paychecks are involved.  

There are lots of stories like &quot;How to tweet your way out of a job&quot; that remind me to play my cards close to my chest:
