2005 was the first for my Yearly Themes approach to a new year. I began by making a 36 hour trip to New York City to watch the ball drop in Times Square. The crowd was huge and I did not make it into Times Square but I could see the ball drop. The best part was that Regis Philbin was filling in for Dick Clark that year and I was far enough back not to be near him. Still wish that Dick was there though… :-(

As the year progressed I did many things most notably:
A trip to Tampa Bay for friends’ graduation
First time to Chicago
Ran the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon
Visited Toronto for two long weekends and almost moved there
Attended Burning Man
Skydiving over Santa Rosa, California
Moved to San Francisco
Took dance classes and gave my first public performance
Traveled to Vermont (specifically Barre) to visit friends, stopping past Portland, Maine to meet another friend for dinner.

It was a great and fun way to approach new activities and ideas and I recommend trying it!

:-)
