Booker Creek Park

Booker Creek Park

Alligators and wildlife live among us here in St Petersburg. Booker Creek Park is only a few minutes ride from my apartment and is the playground for a pod of alligators. It’s a little alarming to experience them in the open like that for the first time. Knowing that they can and do injur people and devour small animals.

I found the type of wildlife at the park was quite rich once I gotten past the discovery of the alligators. The water snake pique’s my curiosity and I am not sure of its species. My encounter with the wildlife has inspired me to seek out new life and new civilizations to boldly go where no transplant from San Francisco has gone before.
