Almost trash free

Shazaam! This week went by quickly. It feels like it was just Monday and I was working to finish the first draft of the film score for the next day’s opening. It was a tad irritating to find someone had thrown food seemingly off the upper balcony of the house into the yard…. No one would claim responsibility.. :-/ In a spot of good news I did find a recycling center soo much closer to the house and it not only does it accept a wider variety of items, less sorting is required!

Cinco de Mayo was a busy busy day. Drop of the first version of the scored film, spend time at the Gulfport Market, then hurry back to the apartment to meet up with a representative of the leasing company and the maintenance man. Despite their running 30+ minutes late we did make progress… 2 screens were installed on windows so there is a nice breeze running through the house. The also repaired 1-2 other outstanding items and passed on the info that they were giving the upstairs (what.. we have to take our garbage out and not let it sit on the back porch) neighbors a pre-eviction notice. Ergo if trash piles up again they will be asked to leave. That night Shelley and I made a trip to pick up some tequila for celebratory drinks and then also headed off to the art opening where the short film was debuted. As the score was not finalized a silent version of the film was used..whew. Shelley and I also tried our hands at the Infinity Dance. Different.

Aside from finding dolphins I am not sure what happened on Wednesday. The week she blends together somewhat. Tough I do have a little recollection of dropping off the business/promo card order for the Tuesday Fresh Market.

Thursday was a trip to see Star Trek. Good stuff. Go see it. Don’t take it seriously.

Leaving Friday – another trip to Gulfport for tech support and wildlife exploration. Blue heron chicks, a turtle but no alligator. Working on the next version of the score tonight as I want two more iterations of review before it gets shipped off to Berlin.

Q.E.D. my week.
